Our logo symbolizes the Human Brain and the unique conditions in our Solar System which gave rise to it. With this understanding, you can come to realize that the Human Brain is incredibly special, and what's more, it is the most valuable and important object to mankind. Regardless of the superficial differences that we place among ourselves, we can recognize that we all have this unique and valuable Human Brain.
All of our products include the Humane Brain logo, which represents the unique conditions that lead to our existence and the only thing that can understand and influence the laws of the universe -- your human brain. Wearing our products is an acknowledgement of the value of the human brain and everyone with it, as well as a step towards a more humane world.

Why is the universe ever expanding? Why does coffee cool at room temperature? Why do buildings eventually crumble?
This is all due to what physicists call the 2nd law of thermodynamics, which asserts that entropy will stay the same or increase -- meaning that matter and energy will naturally spread, disperse, dissipate, unless there is energy applied to contain it in an orderly fashion.
The 2nd law of thermodynamics, also known as the law of entropy, is the most important law of physics in explaining the evolution of the universe and the passage of time.
The universe manifests this law in myriad ways, including the unique conditions of our solar system that allow us to exist. With just a basic understanding of our solar system, one cannot help but acknowledge the miracle of life and how precious every person is.
Additionally, with a basic understanding of the law of entropy, one will come to appreciate the many corollaries in relationships, organizations, governments, etc. -- how people apply energy toward certain goals to create order, maintain order, or accelerate disorder.
And with all of our space exploration, we have yet to find anything else in the universe with the ability to harness energy with intelligence, except for us. There is nothing else in the universe, that we know of, that can alter entropy with intention and perspective in this way. We are the only ones, and that is due to the amazing matter that we have in our heads: the human brain.
Imagine how much better and inclusive our world would be if everyone appreciated how amazing the human brain is, valued everyone with it, and harnessed energy with that in mind.
For thousands of years, most of our identity has been defined through arbitrary geographic and societal boundaries. As we head into the 21st century, this emphasis has challenged us to redefine ourselves outside of these boundaries and to know our place within the Universe. Beginning to understand the difference between our personal experiences versus the accomplishments as a species and our place within the Universe is the reason that I developed the initiative, Know Where You Are (later rebranded as Humane Brain).
The Know Where You Are initiative began to form as a result of the changes that I observed taking place in the world over the last four decades.
As I began to explore further these changes in the world, it was easy to reference technological advances and exponential population increases over the past twelve decades as a reason. My curiosity led me to expand my knowledge through educational and science based television programming. As my interest grew in discovering how our Universe was formed, I took advantage of my membership in the Planetary Society and attended lectures and events that featured some of the nation's top astrophysicists, researchers, astronauts, and authors.
Over the past few years, I have reached out to numerous physicists and engineers; among these were a Mars Rover Curiosity systems engineer and a UCLA physics professor. As my enthusiasm about the physical Universe and its laws increased, I began to read books, magazines, newspaper articles, and online blogs written by astrophysicists to satisfy my curiosity. This led to a bounty of knowledge about our Solar System and the Pale Blue Dot which we inhabit. It is out of this relationship in our Solar System that I realized the Human Brain developed.
The capacity to understand this relationship is the payoff. The Human Brain is the mechanism that has allowed us to recognize and continue to push the boundaries of technology, space travel, and medical discoveries. Giving the gray matter its due has become the loose thread of the sweater. Once I tugged it, the tightly knit centuries of scientific discoveries rapidly unraveled before my inquisitive eyes, revealing the Human Brain.
